Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport on Monday announced that Finland’s Valtteri Bottas would replace the 2016 Formula One world champion Nico Rosberg, who recently announced his retirement. 27-year-old Bottas, spent the last four years at Williams since making his F1 debut for the team in 2013 and now will partner three-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton. Notably, Bottas has never won a Formula One race but has managed nine podium finishes.
