Two percent voter turnout in Srinagar repoll

The re-polling for the recently held by-poll in Srinagar in the state of Jammu and Kashmir happened on Thursday. According to reports, Just a little over two percent of the 35,000 voters turned out to vote. No votes were counted in over twenty poll booths. The state's Chief Electoral Officer Shantmanu reportedly called the low turnout as 'surprising.'
