The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion  on Monday notified the Trademark Rules, 2017 which will replace the erstwhile Trademark rules 2002. In the revamped rules, the number of Trademark forms have been reduced from 74 to 8 and the fee for online filling has been kept at 10% lower than that for the physical filling to promote e-filling of trademark applications.
