A police complaint was lodged against a journalist belonging to an English daily on Tuesday for not standing up for the national anthem. The incident is said to have happened at a function in a Defence establishment in Udhagamandalam. According to the complaint, the officials alleged that the reporter stated that he was “not interested” in standing up.
