Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday reportedly offered gold ornaments worth Rs 5 crore to the Lord Venkateswara hill shrine in Tirumala. Reportedly, the first ever of such vast offering has been made by a state government after independence in the country. Reportedly, Rao was accompanied by his family members and some cabinet colleagues.
