Tamil Nadu Finance Minister D Jayakumar on Monday reportedly offered to give up his ministerial portfolio. According to reports, Jayakumar said: "If someone has to sacrifice for the welfare of the party, let it be me. I am ready to forego my portfolios for them (OPS faction)," Notably, the merger talk between the two AIADMK factions is set to happen at the party headquarters in Royapettah on Monday.
