The state budget for the 2017-2018 financial year will reportedly be presented in the Tamil Nadu Assembly on March 16, 2017. According to reports, state Finance Minister D Jayakumar will present the budget. Notably, this will be the first budget tabled in the Assembly after Edappadi Palanisamy took office as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
