Australian Spinner Steve O’Keefe was reportedly charged with a fine of Rs 10 lakh on Friday. O’Keefe was found guilty of a Level 2 offense under the governing body’s Code of Conduct for making ‘highly inappropriate comments under the influence of alcohol’ during a Cricket New South Wales (NSW) function. Notably, O'Keefe gave a phenomenal performance with the ball during the opening Test in Pune against India which helped the visitors clinch a 333-run victory.
