Star India has reportedly said that it would not bid for the jersey of Indian cricket team after the company’s deal with the BCCI ends in March 2017. According to reports, Star India CEO Uday Shankar has said that they are proud of company’s name being carried on Indian jersey, but they have decided not to bid for it again as the commitments being asked for are too onerous.
