The Central Industrial Security Force has reportedly decided to stop the stamping of hand baggage at Delhi and six other airports. The rule will be implemented in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Cochin from April 1, 2017. The change in the security procedure has been made to speed up the check-in process and to provide more time to the security staff to check suspicious baggage.
