According to a report by PTI, the central government on Wednesday said a mud therapy technique is being used on the Taj Mahal to preserve the colour of the white marble structure. Cultural Minister Mahesh Sharma said the method reportedly involves an application of a paste of Multani Matti. Efforts are also being made to reduce the impact of insects on the 17th-century structure, he added.
