American aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company, SpaceX has reportedly said that two private citizens have paid money to be sent around the moon. "We are excited to announce that SpaceX has been approached to fly two private citizens on a trip around the moon late next year", said SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. Notably, the United States has not sent astronauts to the Moon since NASA's Apollo missions in the 1960s and '70s.
