Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan notched up a 276-ball 217 during the ongoing Wellington Test against New Zealand on Friday, to register the highest-ever score by a Bangladeshi batsman in Test. Shakib is now the third Bangladesh player to score a double ton in Tests. He was involved in a 359-run stand for the fifth wicket with Mushfiqur Rahim, who scored 159, making it the highest Test partnership for Bangladesh in Tests.
