American professional tennis player Serena Williams has defeated her sister and fellow countrywoman Venus Williams to win the Australian Open title in Melbourne on Saturday. Serena won 6-4, 6-4 against Venus in the final match of Women’s singles category. Notably, this is Serena’s seventh Australian Open title and 23rd Grand Slam title.
