After BJP corporators extended support in his favour, Shiv Sena candidate Vishwanath Mahadeshwar was on Wednesday elected as the Mayor of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, say reports. Notably, Shiv Sena had won 84 of the 227 seats in the BMC election last month while BJP had bagged 82 seats.
