The Supreme Court has on Monday ordered to register a fresh FIR against self-styled ‘godman’ Asaram for filing fake documents in connection with his health. The apex court also levied a fine of Rs 1 lakh on Asaram. Notably, in September last year, he had requested the court to exempt him from appearance on health ground and said the trial could proceed in his absence.
