SBI Card, an arm of State Bank of India, has reportedly decided to impose a charge on payments made by cheques. According to the reports, the card company has announced that it will charge a fee of Rs 100 for payments below Rs 2,000. Notably, 8% of SBI Card customers are using cheques to settle their bills.
