Actor Kamal Haasan in an interview asserted that Sasikala Natarajan’s proximity to late J.Jayalalithaa does not make her qualified for the Chief Minister’s post. Speaking about Tamil Nadu’s current political situation, Kamal said,  "I don't know the qualifications of Sasikala, neither do the people of Tamil Nadu." Further, he added that the interim CM O Panneerselvam is competent.
