The International Cricket Council appointed Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar as the UNICEF and Cricket For Good Ambassador for the ICC Women's World Cup 2017 on Wednesday. "Women for sport and sport for women goes hand in hand... I'm here to extend all my support and above all, enjoy that competitiveness", said Sachin. The ICC Women's World Cup 2017 is scheduled to start on June 24 in England and India will face the hosts in the opening game.
