The Tamil Nadu government has reportedly allocated Rs 15 crore for the construction of memorial of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. A minister reportedly said the tender will be floated soon for the construction of memorial near the MGR memorial on the Marina. Notably, Jayalalithaa was immortalised near MGR memorial which is spread over 8 acres.
