Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has revealed ₹141.13 crore worth of new ₹2,000 and ₹500 notes has been seized in raids across the country. ₹110 crore was captured by the I-T Department, ₹4.54 crore by ED and ₹26.21 crore by CBI. The money seized by the ED has been invested in nationalised banks to put them back in the rotation.
