Manchester United's former long serving manager Sir Alex Ferguson has asserted that club captain Wayne Rooney’s new record as Man United’s all time top goal scorer will likely stay unbroken forever. Notably, Rooney scored his 250th goal for the club surpassing club and country legend Sir Bobby Charlton’s record of 249 goals, a year after he surpassed the England's all time top scorer record held by Charlton. Notably, Rooney was signed by Ferguson in 2004 who managed the player for over 9 years winning almost all major team honors possible.
