Telecom services provider Reliance Jio has reportedly accused rival Airtel of “grossly exaggerating” the value of data in a promotional offer, and giving misleading tariff ads. The Mukesh Ambani-led company also asked the telecom regulator TRAI to impose the highest penalty on Airtel. Jio reportedly said the services being offered are in gross violation of telecommunication laws, referring to Airtel's “free data for 12 months worth Rs 9,000” offer.
