The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Bill, 2016 is reportedly coming into force on Monday. According to reports, thirteen states and union territories have notified the act. The bill reportedly brings transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the real estate sector. Notably, Tamil Nadu is yet to notify the bill.
