Suhas Haldankar, an RTI activist from Maharashtra, was reportedly murdered on Sunday evening. Rivalry during the recently held municipal election is said to be the reason behind this assassination. Notably, Haldankar was responsible for several expose on civic lapses in Kharalwadi area. According to reports, Eleven people have been arrested in connection with the murder.
