The Chennai city police have reportedly tightened security at the Marina beach after information about protests emerged on social media. According to reports, police have forced shopkeepers at the beach to shut down the shops and people are being evacuated. Notably, people are expected to organise a Jallikattu-like protest at Marina in support of the farmers protesting at Delhi.
