According to a report by PR company Burson-Marsteller, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with nearly 40 million followers, became the most followed world leader on Facebook. Notably, former US President Barack Obama, who has over 54 million followers, has not been included in the list as he no longer forms part of the government.
