The prices of petrol and diesel will be revised in the daily basis from Monday in five cities in India. A pilot for daily revision will reportedly be first started in few cities like Puducherry, Vizag in Andhra Pradesh, Udaipur in Rajasthan, Jamshedpur in Jharkhand and Chandigarh. Notably, State fuel retailers currently revise rates on the 1st and 16th of every month based on average international price.
