The PETA India on Saturday claimed that the call for a ban on the organisation is akin to calling for a ban on a child protection organisation that saves children from illegal trafficking. This comes after pro-Jallikattu protesters demanded a ban on PETA India for banning the traditional bull-taming sport, followed by similar demands from Karnataka and Maharashtra over buffalo racing sport Kambala.
