Animal rights organisations in India, including PETA, have reportedly filed a petition in the Supreme Court, on Wednesday, against the Jallikattu bill passed by the Tamil Nadu government on Monday in the Assembly. Notably, the apex court has accepted the petition and has scheduled the hearing on January 30.
