The Palestinian militant group, Hamas which rules the Gaza Strip, on Monday accepted a Palestinian state within the borders that existed in 1967, without recognising Israel. The document also calls for Hamas to distance itself from the Muslim Brotherhood in an effort to build stronger ties with Egypt, which classifies the Brotherhood as a terrorist organisation.
