As a goodwill gesture aimed at confidence building measures, Pakistan has reportedly released 218 Indian fishermen on Thursday detained in the past one year. Notably, on December 25 last year, Pakistan had released 220 fishermen, making this a second such move in less than two weeks. The fishermen will reportedly be handed over to Indian authorities on Friday.
