US ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley has reportedly said that ousting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is the priority for the US. In a major shift of US policy towards Syria, Haley added, a solution to the Syrian conflict is not possible with Assad's regime. Notably, the US launched a missile strike on Syria in response to an alleged chemical attack that killed dozens.
