Mahesh Kumar, a 38-year-old policeman, was trapped and left bleeding to death in his police jeep for over an hour, following an accident in Mysuru, as bystanders paused only to take photographs. According to reports, Kumar succumbed to severe head wounds in hospital but could have been saved if only he had been rushed to the hospital earlier. Notably, Kumar was travelling in a police jeep on Saturday afternoon when it collided head-on with a state-run bus.
