After social media users accused it of being racist and insensitive, German personal care brand Nivea has pulled out its controversial advertisement from its social media page. The Nivea deodorant commercial, posted on its middle east facebook page, had a woman’s picture with the slogan “White is Purity”. The ad also read, “Keep it clean, keep it bright. Don’t let anything ruin it.”
