In a surprise check in Vellore, the police have reportedly arrested and booked nine people for selling pirated DVDs and CDs of newly released movies. The police conducted a surprise check in Burma Bazaar, Sarathi Maligai, Filterbed Road and Vellore Old Bus Stand on Saturday and Sunday, say reports. The police have also reportedly seized 2,688 CDs and DVDs from the shops, including the newly released movies such as Dora, Mottai Siva, Kavan, 8 Thottakal, Kadamban and Power Pandi.
