A new technological application of interplanetary radar pioneered by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California has detected Indian Space Research Organization's Chandrayaan-1 and NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter in the lunar orbit. Reportedly a JPL scientist said that it was so easy to find the LRO as they had the data where it was located, but finding the Indian satellite took a bit more detective work because of the lost contact with the spacecraft.
