Sitaram Yechury, the general secretary of CPI(M), on Monday asserted that the Modi government, which claims to be Indian, had subverted Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s slogan Jai Hind to Jio Hind. Further, he also added that the people should reclaim Jai Hind. “Bose believed in Indian nationalism, not in a narrow idea of nationalism based on religion," said Yechury.
