World number three men's singles player Milos Raonic of Canada has entered the quarterfinals round of Brisbane International tennis tournament on Thursday. Raonic defeated Argentine player Diego Schwartzman 6-3, 6-2 in the second round and will face Rafael Nadal in the quarters on Friday. Notably, World number one women's  singles player Angelique Kerber lost to Ukraine's Elina Svitolina 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in the quarterfinals.
