Microsoft has appointed the Senior Vice-President of Infrastructure at LinkedIn Corporation Kevin Scott as its Chief Technology Officer. Reportedly Scott will also be a part of LinkedIn’s executive management team. Notably, Microsoft has reinstated the role of CTO for the first time in 17 years.
