Sri Lankan captain and all-rounder Angelo Mathews is likely to miss a major part of the tenth season of IPL due to a hamstring injury. According to reports, Mathews, who is currently representing Delhi Daredevils, was injured during the T20 series against South Africa. Notably, Delhi players JP Duminy and Quinton de Kock were also dropped from the squad earlier due to injury.
