A Noida-based BTech graduate has reportedly duped more than 6 lakh people of Rs 3,700 crore through a fraudulent scheme. The scheme, which promised big returns for investors for hitting ‘likes’ online, operated through fake URLs. The man, 26-year-old Anubhav Mittal, was arrested along with two aides on Thursday. The police also reportedly discovered Rs 520 crore deposited in 12 accounts.
