A man in Zhengzhou of China was taken in police custody after he asked a cop in plain clothes for help pushing a stolen e-bike. The on-duty officer said he recognised the suspect, surnamed Hu, as a known area thief. Claiming the battery was dead. Hu said he wasn't in good health and wasn't strong enough, the unnamed officer said, adding he also noticed there was no key in the ignition.
