Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday reportedly said Sanskrit should be made mandatory in schools from the very beginning. "Knowledge of English is must but don't make our children Englishmen," he added. Stating that character building and not just knowledge is essential for students, Singh pointed out that even terrorists have degrees.
