Maharastra to use automated weather stations for farmers

According to reports, Maharastra became the first state to install automated weather stations which are first of its kind in India for farmers on Sunday. These machines will accurately predict rainfall pattern in the region, levels of humidity and also will guide farmers on the best crop to cultivate.  Notably, Maharastra aims to install 2,065 machines across villages.
