Madras High Court gets new Chief Justice

Justice Indira Banerjee, a sitting judge of the Delhi High Court, has been appointed as the new Chief Justice of the Madras High Court. Banerjee was sworn as the Chief Justice in the presence of Tamil Nadu Governor Vidyasagar Rao on Wednesday. Notably, Banerjee succeeds Justice Kishan Kaul the former Chief Justice of Madras High Court.
