According to reports, the Kudankulam Unit II Nuclear power Project has been reportedly shut down on Saturday due to water and steam leakage. The Unit II of the Nuclear project will be recovered soon and it will likely be producing power from May 11, an official said. Notably, The NPCIL has two 1,000 MW nuclear power plants at KNPP built with Russian equipment.
