Kohli named Wisden's leading cricketer in the world for 2016

Indian skipper Virat Kohli on Wednesday was named as the Leading Cricketer in the World for 2016, in this year's edition of the Wisden Cricketer's Almanack. Kohli now becomes the third Indian cricketer to be bestowed with the honour, with retired cricketers Virender Sehwag winning it twice in 2008 and 2009 and Sachin Tendulkar in 2010. Notably, Virat Kohli had the highest average in all three formats last year and went on to score four Test double hundreds in the calendar year.
