According to reports, the now inoperative Kingfisher Airlines, owned by absconding liquor baron Vijay Mallya allegedly diverted Rs 254 crore of the Rs 900 crore IDBI loan for 'personal use,' a CBI charge sheet revealed on Tuesday. The CBI had alleged the bank extended loans to Kingfisher Airlines when it had negative credit ratings. It also arrested former chairman of IDBI Bank, among others, in connection with Mallya loan default case.
