Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday reportedly said his government will take strict action against those who are involved in moral policing. This comes a day after some Shiv Sena activists threatened and manhandled couples sitting at the Marine Drive in Kochi. Terming the incident an ‘insult’ to Kerala, Vijayan reportedly said, “A handicapped mindset that exists as part of a patriarchal society is behind such moral policing.”
